This album presents a cross section of songs I've recorded over the last three years - seven originals, and four very old songs not written by me, that I've reworked and tried to make my own. It contains some of my very favourite songs that I play. The title refers both to one of my own songs, contained herein, about busking on the streets of New Orleans, and also nods to the fact that, if you listen very closely, you can hear some sounds of the street quietly in the background from time to time. Let's just pretend they're all "field recordings", ok?
